Kristen Schunk Moreland, President
Kristen Schunk Moreland is a certified expert facilitator and change management practitioner. She has over 25 years of experience working in higher education and the public sector, as well as many years in the private sector. Her experience includes leadership and team development, organizational development, talent development and training, change management, facilitation, creative problem solving, strategic planning, policy development and analysis, grant development and administration, project and contract management, and fiscal, legislative and business process improvement.
Professional Experience

Senior Vice President, Chief Strategy Officer at Ivy Tech Community College, where she led the strategic planning process and implementation, talent development, continuous improvement, change management, and event planning functions.

Manager in the Public Sector Advisory Services division of KPMG, where she led management-consulting projects for a variety of business, higher education and non-profit clients.

Indiana Department of Education's Assistant Director for the Division of Exceptional Learners and the Interim Director for the Indiana Division of Disability, Aging and Rehabilitative Services, Family and Social Services Administration, where she coordinated programs serving individuals with disabilities.
Civic Engagement
Kristen has served on the Boards of multiple Central Indiana organizations. She co-founded Project Home Indy, a non-profit residential facility, to provide a nurturing environment to assist homeless parenting and pregnant teens. She developed the groundwork to launch the organization by working with the State of Indiana, community and health care organizations, private funders, the City of Indianapolis, and employers. She worked closely with the State of Indiana to ensure licensure and partnered with many Central Indiana community funders to establish and grow the annual budget.
Education and Family
Kristen holds a Master of Public Affairs and a Bachelor of Science in Public Affairs from Indiana University. She currently resides in Indianapolis, Indiana with her husband, Doran Moreland, and their two daughters.
